UNIONE™ Online · Fellow-delivered
A Fellow reviews one dispute resolution clause against the six questions a healthy clause answers and returns a verdict: keep, amend or escalate.
Enter the matter, see the live analysis and the delivery plan, then pay at the end. Every step after that is tracked on your page.

What you receive
- Review of one dispute resolution clause by a named Fellow
- Verdict: keep, amend or escalate
- The specific amendments, with wording
- Whether a fuller Contract Intelligence™ review is worth it
Why people use it
A named UNIONE™ Fellow reviews one dispute resolution clause against the six questions every healthy clause answers, and tells you plainly: keep it, amend it (with the wording) or escalate to a fuller review.
- The dispute clause decides where, how fast and how expensively any dispute will be fought, and it is the clause most often copied without thought.
- A Fellow's review costs a fraction of discovering after a dispute that the seat or the rules do not work.
- You get a clear verdict, not a memo you have to interpret.
Who it is for
- Anyone about to sign, renew or reuse a template with a cross-border dispute clause
- In-house teams standardising their templates
- Scale-ups signing their first international distribution or customer contracts
When to order it
- Before signature, when the dispute clause is the one clause nobody on the deal team has read closely.
- When a template is about to be rolled out to many counterparties, so one review fixes every future contract.
- When a counterparty proposes an unfamiliar seat, institution or escalation ladder.
- After the free CIS™ Basic Score flags gaps you cannot judge yourself.
What it is not
It reviews one clause, not the whole contract, and it is not an opinion on the law of any country. If the Fellow sees a problem outside the clause, the verdict says "escalate" and tells you to which service.
How it works
1. Your matter
You. You enter the matter online and upload the documents; your browser extracts the text and UNIONE™'s own servers run the analysis. Nothing is kept until you submit.
2. Six-question test
UNIONE™ software. The clause taken apart and tested against the six questions, with a preliminary verdict and a draft amended clause.
3. Confirm and pay
You. You check the plan and pay by card on Stripe's secure page, at the end of the application.
4. Conflict and independence check
Secretariat · 2 working days. The Secretariat checks every party against UNIONE™, its Fellows and the Federation. Nobody reads the merits until it is clear.
5. Fellow appointed
Named Fellow. The Secretariat appoints a Fellow with the right jurisdictions; the Fellow declares independence online before opening the file.
6. Fellow's review
Named Fellow · 3 working days. The Fellow answers the six questions in the Fellow Desk, starting from the software's test, and writes the verdict and the amendments.
7. Second-Fellow check
Second Fellow · 1 working day. A second Fellow reviews the work in the Fellow Desk and approves it or returns it with comments.
8. Released to you
UNIONE™ software · 1 working day. The software produces the signed PDF, puts it on your page and e-mails you.
9. One round of questions
You. You can ask the Fellow one round of clarification questions on your order page.

The software and AI in this service
Before you pay: Six-question test. The clause taken apart and tested against the six questions, with a preliminary verdict and a draft amended clause. It runs on UNIONE™'s own servers and sends nothing to an AI provider.
Once the conflict check clears, an AI first read appears on your order page: the clause's structure, the elements present and missing, and the questions the Fellow will ask.
- The Fellow writes the verdict. You can choose no AI on the form.
- AI provider: OpenAI, under business API terms that do not allow training on your data.
Application guide: the form, field by field
Fields marked * are required. The live analysis shows what is missing before you pay, and you can save your answers and continue later.
| Field | What to enter |
|---|---|
| The dispute clause * | The full dispute clause, including any negotiation or mediation steps before arbitration. |
| Contract type * | The type of contract the clause sits in. Options: Supply / procurement · Services / outsourcing · Construction / EPC · Technology / SaaS · Licensing / IP · Joint venture / partnership · Distribution / agency · Financing · Other. |
| Your country * | A few words are enough. |
| Counterparty's country * | A few words are enough. |
| Where the counterparty's assets are (if different) | A few words are enough. |
| Likely value of a dispute | Choose the closest option. Options: Under USD 1M · USD 1M – 10M · USD 10M – 100M · Over USD 100M. |
| Governing law of the contract | A few words are enough. |
| Anything else the Fellow should know | Anything that worries you, or what the counterparty has asked to change. |
| Your details * | Name, work e-mail, organisation, country and phone. The e-mail becomes your private account; no password to set, you sign in with a one-time code. |
| No AI on my documents | Tick it and no AI touches your file: the Fellow reads the documents without the AI first read, and the software analysis before payment runs on UNIONE™'s own rules only. |
Practical guide: what to have ready

Frequently asked questions
What are the six questions?
Is the forum clear? Is the seat right for enforcement? Are the rules and the institution workable? Is there a route to urgent relief? Do the escalation steps have time limits? Is the law of the arbitration agreement stated?
Who is the Fellow?
A UNIONE™ Fellow with experience in the jurisdictions involved, named on the verdict after the conflict check.
Can I reuse the amended clause in other contracts?
Yes, within the same kind of contract and the same countries. The verdict says where the wording should not be reused.
What if the verdict is "escalate"?
The verdict explains why; the Contract Intelligence™ Review or DPC™ is the usual next step.
Why a named Fellow rather than an AI report?
Because the questions that decide a clause (is this seat really neutral, will this escalation ladder survive a hostile counterparty, does the law of the arbitration agreement need stating) call for judgement and experience in the jurisdictions involved. The Fellow signs the verdict and a second Fellow checks it.
Can I speak to the Fellow?
You get one round of written clarification through your order page. For a call, the Contract Intelligence™ Review includes one.
What does "keep" mean when the free score was low?
The free score tests structure; the Fellow tests fitness for your deal and your countries. A short clause can be the right clause. The verdict explains why.
Will the verdict stand up with the counterparty?
It is a reasoned, signed document from an independent institution, which is usually enough to move a discussion from opinion to wording. It is not an opinion on validity under any national law.
Do I need an account first?
No. Run the application: enter the matter, see the live analysis and the plan, then pay at the end (or request the quote). We create your private account from your email so you can follow every step. Already have one? It is linked automatically, and you open it with a one-time code.
How do I pay?
By card on Stripe's secure page, in USD, EUR or GBP. UNIONE™ never sees your card details. An invoice is issued automatically.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. Orders and applications are confidential, handled by named people after a conflict check, and never shared without your consent except as the law requires.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, depending on the stage the work has reached. The Refund policy sets it out service by service.
Is AI used on my documents?
Only to prepare: the live analysis before payment runs on UNIONE™'s own rules on our servers, and after the Secretariat clears the conflict check an AI first read gives the Fellow a map of the file. Nothing reaches an AI provider before then. A named Fellow makes every finding. Tick "No AI on my documents" on the form and the AI first read is skipped; the Fellow works from the documents alone.
