Who The Academy Is For
Three pathways into the Academy.
Open to all UNIONE™ Fellows and to practitioners applying for Fellowship. Module completion is tracked against Fellowship designation requirements.
AF.UNIONE™ — Associate Fellows
Modules 1 (DPC Standard) and 2 (Rules v3.0) required. Module 8 (Standing Neutral Practice) required for DPC appointment eligibility.
F.UNIONE™ and SF.UNIONE™ Fellows
Modules 1, 2, and 3 (ERR Practice) required. All modules count toward the annual 20-hour CPD requirement.

DPC Standard v1.0 — The Six Checkpoints
Full DPC Standard — six checkpoints, application across contract types, sector application, Standing Neutral role. Required for AF.UNIONE™ DPC appointment eligibility.
UNIONE™ Rules v3.0 — Procedure & Practice
Rules v3.0 in full — procedural tracks, tribunal constitution, document production, hearings, award making, ERR, emergency arbitrator. Required for all Fellowship tiers.
Enforcement Readiness Review — Practitioner
ERR framework — six-step process, jurisdiction assessment, public policy grounds, sovereign immunity, and the Enforceability Certificate. Required for ERR appointment eligibility.
Sector Specialism — Construction & Infrastructure
NEC, FIDIC, DAAB, delay analysis, variation valuation, and DPC checkpoint priorities for construction contracts.
Sector Specialism — Energy, Oil, Gas & Climate
PSA/JOA, force majeure, take-or-pay, LNG SPA, and the Standing Neutral role in long-term energy contracts.
Sector Specialism — Banking & Finance
ISDA, LMA, close-out netting enforceability, trade finance, and DPC checkpoint priorities for financial instruments.
AI Evidence & Hearing Intelligence
UNIONE™ AI Evidence Protocol under Rules v3.0 Art. 32 — admissibility, authentication, and AI tools in proceedings.
Standing Neutral Practice
Standing Neutral appointment practice — quarterly reviews, Trigger Event activation, without-prejudice communications, escalation to structured resolution.
