Fellowship
Standing you can show. Work you can be seen for. A credential that earns its renewal.
UNIONE™ standing gives no right to appointments, referrals, clients or cases; independence requires that. Renewal is earned by what the Fellowship gives a professional to show, learn and contribute each year.
Three designations, one tier table
One table applies everywhere: on this page, in the Fees schedule and in the application. Re-grading against it is open to every current Fellow.
| Designation | Experience | What it signals |
|---|---|---|
| AF.UNIONE™ (Associate Fellow) | 3–7 years | Vetted practitioner building a cross-border practice |
| F.UNIONE™ (Fellow) | 8–14 years | Established practitioner with documented cross-border work |
| SF.UNIONE™ (Senior Fellow) | 15+ years | Senior practitioner, eligible for Sector Bench chair and rapporteur roles |

What renewal earns
- Sector Bench membership with honest counts; chair and rapporteur seats for Senior Fellows; a quarterly bench note.
- Authorship: country, corridor and sector briefs published under your name with a review date and a byline page.
- Speaking and writing slots on The Relay, UNIONE™ Conversations and the Journal, allocated by designation each year.
- Fellows Academy access and continuing professional development hours.
- Priority registration and the inside rate for The Paris Assembly™ 2027, with speaking and bench-panel places for Fellows.
- Standing Neutral and DPC™ eligibility where the contract names UNIONE™.
What standing does not include
No right to appointments, referrals, clients or cases. Tribunal and neutral appointments follow the Rules, conflict checks and party choice; the process is published on the Appointments page and the figures in the Institutional Statistics.
Why people use it
UNIONE™ Fellowship gives vetted arbitrators, mediators, experts and counsel a verifiable designation (AF, F or SF.UNIONE™), a directory profile they own, Sector Bench membership and a credential that can be checked by anyone, for a fee paid only after approval.
- A designation on one public tier table, checkable on the Verify page.
- A directory profile searchable by jurisdiction, sector and language.
- Authorship, speaking, bench and Paris Assembly™ opportunities each year.
- Paid delivery work on the Fellow roster at a published fee share.
Who it is for
- AF.UNIONE™: 3–7 years of practice
- F.UNIONE™: 8–14 years
- SF.UNIONE™: 15+ years
When to order it
- When you want your standing in cross-border work verified and visible to the companies and counsel who appoint neutrals.
- When you are building a prevention or Standing Neutral practice and want to be on the roster for paid delivery work.
- Before The Paris Assembly™ 2027, if you want to attend at the Fellow rate or take the combined option.
What it is not
Fellowship gives no right to appointments, referrals or cases. UNIONE™ never ranks Fellows for a live matter; appointments follow the Rules and the conflict check.

Only after approval, at the designation awarded.
Can I move up a designation?
Yes: re-grading against the tier table is open to every current Fellow.
What does renewal cost?
USD 295 a year from the first anniversary, paid online in one step.
What does the vetting look at?
Years and nature of practice, qualifications and memberships, references, published work and conduct, checked against the designation you apply for. The Certification Board decides; you see the outcome and the reasons on your application page.
What is on the public profile?
What you choose to publish: designation, jurisdictions, sectors, languages, practice record, qualifications, publications and availability. Contact details are never published; enquiries come through the Secretariat.
What is the "paid delivery work"?
Fellows on the roster are appointed, after a conflict check, to deliver Clause Health Checks, Contract Intelligence™ Reviews, DPC™ reviews, snapshots and briefs, at the published Fellow fee share (see the Fellow fee share page).
Can my firm or institution be involved?
Yes: the Adoption Partner certification is for firms; the Fellowship is personal.
Do I need an account first?
No. Run the application: enter the matter, see the live analysis and the plan, then pay at the end (or request the quote). We create your private account from your email so you can follow every step. Already have one? It is linked automatically, and you open it with a one-time code.

Is my information confidential?
Yes. Orders and applications are confidential, handled by named people after a conflict check, and never shared without your consent except as the law requires.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, depending on the stage the work has reached. The Refund policy sets it out service by service.
Is AI used on my application?
Only to check that the form is complete. People read and decide every application; no document you upload is sent to an AI provider.
